Shepherd's Retreat

Shepherd's Retreat is our delightful Shepherd's Hut for two adults, situated in our woodland gardens overlooking the duck pond.

It is fully self contained, having the luxury of a separate shower room with toilet and basin.There is a kitchen area with gas cooker and fridge,fold down table and chairs, wardrobe and a full sized double bed (made up on arrival) in the pretty alcove. There is also a large under-bed storage drawer. Power is supplied by solar panels, although laptops and phones can be charged. Please note you are unable to use a hair dryer in the hut. There is heating in the shower and main room.

There is also a table and chairs outside, where you can watch and listen to the resident wildlife.

A welcome basket of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, local apple juice and home-made cakes is provided on arrival.

For a small extra charge (£20), a breakfast basket can be provided for 2 days. This includes cereals,croissants, bread, preserves, juice and our own fresh duck eggs. Please email or phone if you require this option.

An initial box of logs will be provided for guests to enjoy the fire-pit outside. There will be a small charge of £3.50 for any additional box of wood.

Please note there is not a television but a radio and a variety of games are provided for your enjoyment and 'escape from it all' holiday.

Sorry we are unable to accept pets.

We have a no smoking policy. However smoking is permitted outside but as it is a woodland setting, all cigarette stubs must be extinguished in the sand pot provided.
